Located at bottom rear on the northern enceinte of the fortress.
-Medieval (6th to 16th Century AD).
-A small postern, or sally-port, opens up at the base of a section of the old
trace of walls on the northern enceinte of the fortress. This door, which is
blocked up with rubble (it appears to have been block-up around the early
17th century), has a pointed-arch opening and is set close to the flank of what
appears to have been one of the medieval wall-towers defending the fortress.
